Fuel
In development
Fuel is a food log built around the kitchen scale. Every food shows where its numbers come from, a missing value says "no data" instead of zero, and you can use it without an account.
- Logging by weight
- Log in grams, with household measures and servings when you need them. Copy a meal or a whole day.
- Offline food database
- Built from USDA, the Canadian Nutrient File and the UK’s CoFID, with a source badge on every food.
- Missing values stay blank
- A nutrient that was never measured stays blank, so your totals are not quietly short.
- Barcode scanning
- Scan a packet. If it is not in the database, add it from the label. Free.
- Recipes
- Weigh the ingredients raw, weigh the cooked pot, and every portion is worked out for you.
- Micronutrients
- Compared with the reference intakes for your age and sex, with upper limits flagged. Targets are editable.
- Hide calories
- Turn calorie numbers off entirely. Going over a target is never shown in red.
Planned, not built yet
- Pro: your maintenance calories, estimated from what you log and your weight trend
- Weekly check-ins that pace a cut or a bulk slowly
- Weigh-ins shared from Peak Fettle
Your data. No account needed. Your log, weights and targets stay on your phone, and you can export everything as a CSV file.
Where it stands
Fuel is being built and tested now. There is no release date or price yet, and the name may still change. Leave your email above and we’ll write once, when it’s on the App Store.
Fuel is a food log, not medical or dietary advice. Its targets are starting points you can edit, and its estimates are only as good as what you log.
